  2. The one point I would argue is that focusing on Exchange in the small to medium business space most likely won't yeild the results they used to in the near future. Small/medium-sized businesses prize agility and agility is found in the cloud. Office 365 and Google Services.

    I work for a huge company full time and manage/consult a number of small ones (smallest=70 users, largest=260). The cloud means more to smeller businesses than you can imagine. Look into making your elective pairing with SQL administration.

    Also, honing in on the core 2012 R2 offerings has allowed me to architect some very powerful enterprise class solutions for medium and small businesses. Especially when it comes to storage. It's made me a hero. Literally!

  9. Hi – Im a Networking guy – exp 3-4 years – looking to gain systems knowledge. Nice Introductory video – Im looking to get MCSE – Exchange and Sharepoint due to job reqts. How do you think I should proceed? Would it be advantageous to know AD and server before? I dont have a lot of expertise in Microsoft but looking to build labs as I study. Looking for advice.

  10. thx man this was very helpful.. one question though, i got my ccna routing and switching, and planning on getting mcsa windows server 2012, my question: is the style of mcsa exam similar to ccna , i mean is it choosing from ABCD and three lap configuration questions, or there is another exam style in mcsa?

I've been working in technology service IT dept for 8 years now. what would the best certification to take? im also in my 2nd year Bsc Computing degree level. but i need certs to earn more and to move up the ladder. the last vacancy had these entry criteria; SQL Server admin & database environment, MS SQL server & database, SQL 2008/2012 (2013 Advantageous), MS LYNC 2010 advantageuos, Netback up & data domain experience. need your advice.
